FEEDBACK, or how was it?
Did you participate in my workshop, expedition? did you like it? (I hope so), didn't you like it? (probably not), leave me a comment and I'll post it later, I'll be more than happy to.
Marián and We attended several workshops in different countries. However, when I went to the first photo workshop, he had no expectations and it turned out excellent. Since then, I always look forward to what we will experience. And in a few days we are going to discover the beauty of the Slovenian landscape again and I believe that we will return there again 😁. Marián is a person with a big heart. Don’t be surprised if he starts howling with joy in the morning at a beautiful sunrise. Every photo workshop we will experience unforgettable experiences and at the same time we will always learn something new. Marián is a fantastic lecturer, he knows how to provide various information so that everyone understands it as needed. If you hesitated about a photo workshop with Marián, don’t hesitate.

Hello, after processing all emotions and “cooling down” my head, I will allow myself to summarize and evaluate my view of our time spent together. 21-23.1.22 I participated in the “Kriváň” Workshop. From the first moment we met, the whole thing took place in a very pleasant, family atmosphere and with an attitude that is really not commonly seen today. Marian is a great lecturer and in every way a professional in the right place. He also went through the basics with us, from planning itself, preparation, choosing a photo location, looking for compositions,… well, just absolutely everything, so that the expected result was as good as possible. He devoted himself as much as possible to each one of us and always explained what anyone needed and wanted to know. We also went through all the editing procedures from developing, through merging to advanced editing and even a complete layman in Photoshop editing like myself, on Sunday I felt like I learned an incredible amount and understood the things and principles that I years went by and I didn’t understand “what, how and why”. Direct demonstrations of editing his photos together with step-by-step explanations and a demonstration of his “know-how” in editing and everything step-by-step documented in perfectly processed scripts was just the icing on the cake and the team is not done yet. Communication and possible help even after finishing and going home is a bonus that I didn’t even expect. If anyone is thinking about a photo workshop and a shift in landscape photography, I recommend the one at Marian’s to all ten people and I have no doubt that you will have the same feelings after the end as I have now. I met a perfect group of people with the same photodiagnosis there, and I believe that we will meet again. Marian, thanks once again for everything and I hope to see you again somewhere soon…

How do I evaluate Marián’s landscape workshop with the passage of time? Very positively. This positivity doesn’t stem solely from his ability to explore the Kysucko/Orava region but also from his mastery of his craft. Moreover, his approachable demeanor and sense of humor added to the experience. During the workshop, Marián not only demonstrated the post-processing techniques for his published photos but also delved into freshly captured material. He showcased various editing methods, including Time Blending, Focus Stacking, Night Long-Exposure, and more. Additionally, he emphasized that the success of a photograph depends only 25% on the quality of post-processing. The remaining percentages are influenced by factors such as conditions, composition, and planning, among others. He had no qualms about explaining this directly in the field. In summary, whether you’re a beginner, an advanced enthusiast, or even a professional photographer, I urge you not to hesitate and register for Marián’s workshop on the next available date. I believe you will not only gain a wealth of new knowledge and insights but also have the opportunity to meet wonderful individuals who share your passion. Last but not least (I am absolutely certain), you’ll be inspired to click your camera’s shutter more frequently because Marián excels not only as an instructor but also as a facilitator of exceptional photographic conditions. So, go ahead, sign up, educate yourself, and share your undoubtedly positive impressions from the workshop.

I highly recommend the Marianov Workshop to anyone interested in photography, as well as the process of creating a photograph. This workshop will not only teach you how to capture images but also how to plan the entire process, including when and where you need to be prepared. The planning process is straightforward, and you’ll receive step-by-step guidance on what to consider. You will walk through the entire workflow, from inserting the memory card into the PC to the final mouse click that prepares your work for submission. Personally, I greatly enjoyed the creative aspects, both during photography and in the subsequent editing stages. You’ll have the opportunity to experience it all alongside a fantastic group of like-minded individuals who share the same passion as you do. This makes for an unforgettable couple of days filled with valuable experiences🙂 , saving you time that you might otherwise spend learning through trial and error.

I wanted to move a little further in photography and looking at photography as such, that’s why I wanted to attend the autumn Ždiar workshop with Marian. So I wasn’t “only” interested in taking photos in nice places, but mainly about finding out how a professional photographer does it and what it takes to take a nice photo. And my feeling about this event? In one word, great… I’m sure I won’t become a great photographer right away, but I learned a lot of things that I either didn’t do, did half-heartedly, or did wrong, which is what I came here for. What also impressed me was how Marian was able to solve “his problems” individually with everyone, so you really don’t need to be a skilled photographer to take part in the workshop. Marian, once again for your time, your help and your great attitude. It was a great event, a great group of people gathered, and I believe we will see each other at another event. All the best!

I also agree with the previous comment from Peter H. I have been following Marián’s work and its progress for a long time, which is also why I decided to participate in the Autumn Workshop (WS) in Ždiar, originally planned for spring 2020. I can only confirm that it was a great 3 days fully dedicated to the magic of landscape photography, starting with choosing the location, the right time, place and composition. By choosing a suitable lens and foci, the process of taking pictures, up to more advanced techniques for editing photos of day and night landscapes. For me, as an absolute self-taught and beginner who read everything about photography that I could get my hands on, WS was finally the real deal. Thank you, Marián Kuric, for the unique combination of professionalism and completely normal human approach, your openness and willingness to share the post-process procedures directly during WS for many of your well-known photos.
I am looking forward to one of your next workshops.

The workshop was absolutely great. Marian has a great eye for composition and great skills in Photoshop. He knows how to present these skills very well and simply to the participants of the workshop. Everyone will find something for themselves at Marian’s workshops. Whether you are looking for a new perspective on the world of photography or to learn something new in photo editing. I certainly found mine at his workshop in Zdiari. Great location, interesting view of photo editing and its workflow and also super relaxing 😉

I took part in the workshop “Zdiar” and I must say that it was the best spent 3 days of my photo life. I was very surprised by Mariano’s approach and his willingness to share his knowledge, which is really not uncommon these days. He willingly answered all questions about the locations where he took his photos, the process of taking them, or the post-process, and not only about the photos that I have chosen for teaching as part of the workshop, but about any photo from his portfolio. Beautiful locations for photography plus a large amount of information regarding the post-process and the procedure for taking photos on location. I definitely recommend it to anyone who at least enjoys taking pictures of landscapes and some of the post-processing. Every (even more advanced) photographers will definitely take something new away from WS.

The workshop with Marian was simply amazing! I received much more than I expected. Marian’s approach was fantastic, always willing to help and advise. The printed scripts got me, I didn’t expect them to be so comprehensive and have so many things in them.. I can’t say one bad word, an amazing three days that I will definitely like to repeat.

I signed up for the workshop mainly for the reasons of moving further photographically, to meet Slovak photographers whom I admire on Instagram, but mainly to learn everything about photo composition, post-processing and to win more with the photo, so that the result is really worth it. This not only came true for me, but in many ways exceeded my expectations, Maroš’s almost fatherly approach clarified many things for me and by completely sharing his know-how, he completely blew me away, because I am not used to such a thing from the Czech Republic… Simply the whole the workshop had a blast and I was definitely not with Maroš for the last time….a big thank you to everyone!!!
